Alexander J. Parr

Alexander Parr focuses on estate planning, trust planning, estate administration, trust administration and business succession planning.

With experience in a broad array of legal areas, Alexander is able to provide well-rounded advice to meet his clients’ estate planning needs. He enjoys working with clients to create tailor made estate planning strategies that are based upon their unique financial and familial situations. When a loved one has passed, Alexander is there to guide trustees and executors through the estate administration process with patience and understanding.

Beyond estate planning and estate administration, Alexander is pleased to assist clients with other legal services including: planning for disabled individuals (including Henson Trusts and Registered Disability Savings Plans), drafting power of attorneys for property, drafting power of attorneys for personal care. advising attorneys in the course of their duties, drafting trust deeds including family trusts and alter ego trusts and business succession planning.

Alexander was born and raised in Oakville and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association / Ontario Bar Association (CBA/OBA). After obtaining an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario, he earned his LL.B. with honours from the University of Leicester and his LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School.

In his spare time, Alexander enjoys spending time with his family, relaxing at the family cottage, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling and enjoying all genres of music.
