Biography

Robert Krizman truly enjoys practicing Business Law at O'Connor MacLeod Hanna LLP. With more than 25 years of legal practice and as head of OMH’s business law group, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise when advising his clients. His practice encompasses a wide range of business legal issues including counselling on the establishment of companies, sales and acquisitions of businesses, mergers, corporate reorganizations, succession planning for business owners and companies, financing transactions, and contract preparation and negotiation. He is diligent and attentive in working to find solutions for his clients’ legal issues. 

Robert completed his undergraduate studies, with an emphasis on business, at McMaster University where he obtained an Honours Economics and History degree. He completed his law degree at Osgoode Hall and he was called to the Ontario Bar in 1999. 

After articling at OMH, Robert knew working for this highly respected firm in this community was the place he wanted to practice law, and he has been with the firm ever since. His enthusiasm for businesses, from start-up to large companies, covers a wide range of industries from IT to manufacturing. Nothing gives Robert more pleasure than helping his clients succeed in their businesses. Being a trusted advisor to companies and their business owners is something that he finds very rewarding. 

Robert receives great satisfaction in participating in the community. He was a judge for the Oakville Awards for Business Excellence for 13 years, which gave him further appreciation of the many diverse and incredible entrepreneurs and businesses in Halton. He is a past Director of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce. He is also a past contributor to the Newcomer Centre of Peel’s Global Business Centre Program and a former contributor to the Access to Professionals Program for the Halton Business Region Development Centre. 

In his free time, Robert describes himself as a real 'family man' and loves living in Oakville with his wife and two children. He is also a passionate and enthusiastic curler and a long-time fan of the Toronto Raptors.
