After more than 15 years of practice on Bay Street, Tina Liu joined O’Connor MacLeod Hanna LLP’s Business Law group. Attracted to the firm by its excellence in services backed by the firm’s more than 50 years of history and tradition, Tina believes O’Connor MacLeod Hanna LLP would be the right fit for her clients and community.
Tina has a corporate and securities law practice with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, capital pool company qualifying transactions, private investment in public equity (PIPE) transactions, joint ventures and reorganizations. Tina also advises clients on a broad range of corporate commercial law issues, including structuring and organizing start-up operations, directors' and shareholders' meetings and corporate governance. Tina also has extensive experience in advising clients on issues relating to Investment Canada Act and national security reviews.

Tina is a frequent speaker on legal issues in acquisitions and financings at various forums and events, including Canada China Business Forum, Canada China Mining Investment Forum, China Mining Congress & Expo, Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs and Canadian-Chinese Professional Accountants Association annual conferences.
Tina currently sits on the board of Canadian-Chinese Professional Accountants Association Ontario Chapter.
Tina was the 2022 winner of the WeWorkingWomen 2022 Grand Impact Awards – Top Women Executive Award.
In her spare time, Tina enjoys weight training and downhill skiing.
